Here’s a little game I designed and built in Flash for PETA’s site CanadasShame.com , which spreads information on the horrors behind Canadian seal slaughter. Make sure your sound is on!
Here’s a sampling of some websites I’ve designed for PETA recently:
A website designed to educate the public about the cruelty to ducks and geese in the foie gras industry. People that take action against the cruelty (via email, leaflets, phone calls, etc…) can submit their actions to be counted on the home page
The illustration and design for the 2008 Gran Prix of Gloucester poster is done – this year marks the 10th anniversary of the race!. Please visit their website www.gpgloucester.com
for more information about the race!
Okay – so we’re already 14 days into 2008…I suppose it is a bit belated at this point. It’s fixin’ (thats the ‘Florida’ southern drawl slowly creeping in and taking it’s horrid hold on my vocabulary) to be a busy year so far!
I’m working on a line of plates for a company Creative Treasures - the details are ‘Top Secret’ at this point but stay tuned in a few months for some further information.
There are websites-a-plenty that are brewing right now…and they’re all going to be awesome!! Some will be utilizing some of my exciting new Coldfusion and Flex skills, and I’m simply dying to get them out there….but, yes, patience is a virtue my friend. And unfortunately in the web development world, killer websites don’t finish themselves overnight, so continue sitting on the edge of your seat.
Also, and in somewhat minor, yet personally exciting news, I made some changes to my website tonight – none of which you will notice….mostly some ActionScript changes that really improve the sites functionality and flow. They’re silly things that I’ve noticed – and likely noone else has…but it’s a sweet personal victory over procrastination! Yay! (and a few items added to the portfolio…perhaps those are things you would notice)Cheers!
My new round of promotional postcards will go out this week!
